Student StoriesColumbia students from all majors, and with infinite array of interests and goals, study in diverse places all around the globe. While abroad, students immerse themselves in the local culture, however they define it. Columbians have studied Human Rights in South Africa and Jazz in Rome. They have worked with NGOs in Switzerland, played Rugby in Scotland, debated in Sydney, and danced in Israel. Students have done research in biomedical labs in Paris, and worked with primates in Kenya. They have interned for newspapers in Madrid, and written for campus publications around the world. While there is no 'typical' study abroad experience, Columbians abroad engage with the world in both meaningful and personal ways, wherever they are.
We invite you to explore the "Student Experience" section of this site to learn more about what studying abroad means for students.
